Dear Bloggie,

I know I shouldn't have done that but still i found out something. The same as ever, nothing change. The moment when he said there is changes, I choose to believe. But then at that moment of looking at something which I am not supposed to prove me to be right again. Or am I not? Is it my fault for not enjoying what he did? I dunno. Tired... tired of asking why? tired of shouting out loud! The most sad ones... He did something which I find inappropriate. Well not the fact that, it's not supposed to be like that. Don't say is for the sake of friends. It doesn't seems like it. May be it's just me. May be I shouldn't be angry! I think I feel nothing. I hope I can be tough! I know I will. Hugs myself. I think sometimes things meant to happen and it meant to let me find out the ugly truth. You know what's funny? I baked cookies... for... well doesn't matter. It s for everyone! But the worst thing is not the cookies is my heart feels like crying! =( May be it's really my fault for stop believing and trusting anymore... the world is cruel and cold when you can't find trust! It's true...

Its another week of hardcore work. I need to start saving for money cuz I have so much stuff to do in my to do list. Honestly, I hve a list...

1. Pay partial of my fees for next semester
2. Start training for dancing
3. Save some money to get my first DSLR
4. Need some money for my big travel fantasy around AUS
5. Start saving for the teacher course I'm planning to go for after I grad
6. Get myself a new wallet which I'm supposed to get long ago
7. Sponsor my sis over for the coming summer holiday
8. My biggest dream of having my own business!

You see.. I can go on with more but I think that's the most important ones in the mean time! So I'm gonna work really hard every now and then! Strive for it!!!

Dear Bloggie,

This morning while I was on my way to work, I felt rather worry and scared. There is just something bad happening for the whole week.

The other day, I told him is gonna be the very last chance cuz honestly I felt I had the responsibility and I shouldn't had give up. I wanted a fresh start for both of us so we could regain what we had lost in the past. Hopefully, things work for us! It must work for us! I have faith.

It really struck me the other night when he asked me "Don't you love me anymore?". My answer was "I do. I do. I really do." but at the point when things really happened, I was frustrated am disappointed over it and I felt like giving up. And honestly that feeling freaks me out. =[ but now that we are finally working things out, I'm glad. I'm sorry for almost giving up us. I know I shouldn't have. I hope you'll keep your promise this time. I really hope so.

Wow, the whole week was really a big up and down. Well, now that we finally could sit down n talk n work things out, I reckon both of us could need some trust in each other.

Now, my only concern is you. Things happened lately. You got hurt mentally and physically. It hurts me to see you going through such tough stuff. I hope everything is gonna be alright for you. I want you to know I'll be there for u. Take care, dear. Love u.

I'm tired. Really tired! I'm tired of myself. I'm tired of work. Tired of being tired! I don't even know what am I saying right now. I'm tired of everything in life. It's such a mutha-f***a blooding sucking energy!!! I hate that I'm tired!!!

How I wish I could have that positive energy running through my veins giving me that push to do everything!!! Well I need to work things out now, at this moment.. While I'm in the toilet.. Playing with my I-phone.. Ok I should stop here.. I'm not gonna elaborate what I'm doing.. Lalalalalala..

Back to my point, I am now trying to search for a new aim in life. Besides getting slimmer, what else can I aim for? That's something to think about! Thinking hard..

I felt bad for missing the hotpot gathering in 428 today. But there's just too much to do and so much happenings lately. And my tummy feels odd when i step into my room. Gosh! I'm really sorry guys. Sorry. Probably might drop by if I can. We'll see how it goes.

Dear Bloggie,

What a rough night I had yesterday! It was all supposed to be as usual but it was not. It's just never seem like how it used to be anymore.

Honestly, I had enough of all these bullshits. Probably it's just time to let go. It didn't hurt that much anymore 'cuz obviously when you hurt the same wound again and again. All I will feel is NUMB. And that feeling awaken me yesterday.

This morning when I woke up, nah I should rephrase... Moments ago when I woke up, I thought I would felt the pain but I didn't. That's a bad sign. Or a good sign, perhaps? But the thing was... There's something on the floor making me felt as though I'm an idiot all this while. Oh god, I told myself I need to wake up!

I will probably need some time to mend my heart. I just didn't expect my heart to be broken so soon. It's just unbelievable. I just didn't think that keeping promises are that difficult. May be for you, it's just some kind of joke in life which you will never take it serious. But for me, it does matter.

Now that I've learned, this is life. Whatever shits happen, life pretty much go on. I'm sorry but I had to move on without you from now on; cuz now that I finally realized it's not going to be the same... It never would be anymore.

At this point, damm it! I would say... Cuz it hurts a little bit now! But I'll bear with it. I will. It's really time to say goodbye. *smile*

It's 1st of June 2010. Time flies really fast. My second semester ends. June is going to be a busy month. I'm going to have to work hard to earn lots of money. Also, i need to really work out a slim down plan but i think i failed cuz' i'm havin a cookie on my left hand right now. *failure* need to start doing 200 sits up and cycling! woohoo~

Oh no... I still haven't got the opportunity to blog recently. Reason. Simple. The phone and internet connection took me ages. I'm looking forward for this coming Thursday 'cuz the internet provider consultants gave me their promises. But as usual, I might disappointed after days. Well for those whom might not know, I'd finally got a job! I'm now officially hired! I'm not jobless anymore! =) yay! At least my life is much more relieve...

We've been having lots of crazy nights with a group of crazy ppl as well. I really enjoyed their company! Everyone just has their own stories which makes me laugh! *giggle* I'll update some pictures someday... when I finally have my internet connection *finger crossed*

I've got to get going with my assignment now! squeezing my brains for ideassss...

Hong Kong Exploration - Day 2

Dear Bloggie,

The first Day I woke up in HK, I was so excited but also a lil disappointed. Why? 'Cuz the weather was so hazy, there's no sunshine. Well, it's probably due to all the high rise building around the city. But then I'm still excited to get myself some HK breakfast! We walk along the main road and search for our breakfast spot. We finally decided to try "Yee Soon Milk Company" which has lots of dessert in its display which make me felt sooo hungry! Well, I am gald we made the right choice 'cuz according to one of our HK friend, that's one of the famous ones.

So we both ordered 2 different breakfast set which was quite a big portion. And it's just around HKD24. The breakfast sets include a main meal (noodles), toast, milk tea and some luncheon meat and pork chop. You can actually customized what you want in your own breakfast set. Also, we tried their famous 炖奶. Its a kind of dessert and it's so delicious. It will melts in your mouth.

Then we went to visit The Great Buddha in Lantau Island. We took the cable car up the hill from Ngong Ping Station.

We took quite a lot of pictures in the village and along the way to visit the Great Buddha Statue. There was this huge cotton candy which I can never forget bout it.

After that, we met up with Daniel and Zero in MTR for our first tour around. We had a really nice Japanese food. It might sound a bit weird to be eating Japanese food in HK but according to our friends Japanese food in HK is a heat right now! So must try!

With a stomach full of delicious food, we went for a walk in Tsuen Wan and had pearl milk tea. I think the bubble tea craze has recently hit Hong Kong. It's all crowded with people so we decided to go try! Also, I went for a mini shopping spree! Hahaha~

Dear Bloggie,

I am so freaking tired since yesterday. I can't imagine I felt asleep while sitting on the chair. Oh my. And the worst part was not being tired but the weather was frustrating. It's darn hot. It was 33 degree! arrrgh... I felt much more better after taking a shower. I had so much food today. I felt terribly guilty for eating so much! I'm fat! Everyone says that. i felt bad and I'm gonna have to start burning my fat!!!

I miss Ben very much. yes, I know we are just apart for probably a day. But then the feeling of not having him around is so weird. I miss his belly and funny faces sooo much. He's leaving for a cruise trip tmr. I guess I might not be able to get in touch with him for another few days. Gosh! Waiting for his call now. Hate waiting~~~

Hong Kong Exploration - Day 1

Dear Bloggie,

My Hong Kong trip was awesome! I just can't imagine 5 days 4 night just passed in a glimpse. Honestly, I am so glad AirAsia exists 'cuz now everyone can fly in an affordable price! Ben and I made a deal for traveling every year. Traveling is just fun!

One thing I enjoy a lot in traveling is getting to know people and experiencing the culture. Sometimes having the opportunity to experience the locale culture allow us to learn a lot. We get to know this Japanese girl while we're on the 4 hours flight who had also came from Australia. Apparently, she's traveling alone to HK to meet her bf. Well having a new friend as company for the 4 hours, exchanging experience and contacts! =)

Ya, there's no me in the pictures! Cuz' i'm the camera girl~ hahaha... We reached HK around 9pm. My first impression towards Hong Kong was "OMG, so many skyscrapers!" No joke, the overall buildings are so much taller than Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur ones. We took a double decker bus A21 from the airport to Kowloon district.

We stayed somewhere near Temple St. The hotel was affordable and the location is great and strategic. All the major markets in HK was just in walking distance. Although the room was small but the overall environment was OK. Also, if you are on a shopping trip like me, I think sleeping in a small room is still OK cuz you wont be in the room for long except for sleeping time.

We headed to the temple markets on our first day. Our first meal in HK was famous Claypot Rice "煲仔饭" in Temple St. There was so many choices and we couldn't make up our mind. Most of the Claypot Rice shops has the same name. Funny thing was some of the stalls even put a sign claiming others are the fake ones and theirs are genuine one. The following picture was the notice stating other stalls in the name of XXX is fake ones!

Anyway, we just drop into one of the stalls and have our first dinner in HK.

The food was pretty good. I like the fried oyster very much. It tasted different from Malaysia ones. Then we went around Temple St and Mongkok. All the shops are opened till quite late and there is still crowd everywhere. I felt great to be places which has shops opened till late 'cuz lshopsin Brisbane always end around 6pm hahaha...

❤ The New Me

Just a random update on my new hairstyle. A good starts definitely need a new hair style! and this is my new theory! =) It's done by a Japanese hairstylist in Noble Hair, Fortitude Valley. Love it! Click HERE for the hair saloon's website.

Stomping Ground 2010 - The End

Dear Bloggie,

The 3 weeks training ends yesterday with memories which I will never forget. I've learn so much from Simon, Lynne, Noa, Alejandro, Zen Zen Zo company members and all the ensemble I've had throughout the 3 weeks.

I remembered I went to the training in the morning feeling exceptionally excited and also sad. Excited 'cuz i've finally made it to the last day; sad 'cuz IT'S THE LAST DAY, i'm not gonna wake up early in the morning, takin' the bus to the old museum building, do my fitness training and conditioning even if i felt so wear off and i'm not going to c the other everyday anymore.

I think 3 weeks of working with the ensemble made me felt so connected to each of them and it's just sad to not get to work with each other like we used to. I remembered how we have to focus on our centre, stomp with energy and stay focus and engaged all the time in Suzuki Training Methods. i remembered how we have to put away our self consciousness, and the non attachment body in Butoh. I remembered how we have to learned to trust our ensemble and don't be afraid to lean on them in Contact Improvisation. I remembered how we have to learn to go with our impulses and just have fun in Viewpoints. I still remembers a lot of the teachings the trainers had taught me. I didn't realizes I actually wanted more time to train with them until it finally ends. I just had a great time learning to trust on my on abilities and trust the people I might not know very well but physically connected.

I remembered I came in as an empty vessel which knows nothing bout theatre. I don't have any real experience in monologues, acting styles or any training. When I first came in, I was so afraid, afraid to fail, afraid of being a joke to everyone. But then Stomping Ground 2010 make me realize it's ok to fail, it's ok to make mistakes and the most important thing wasn't failing, the most important thing was being able to stand up even though you failed no matter how many times. Failing makes a person grow, it makes me grow!

I used to be so confident in acting but when I came to Australia, I find theatre wasn't as easy as I thought. I just have so much more to learn. I would really love to thank you Zen Zen Zo for giving me an opportunity to share, learn and grow in Stomping Ground 2010. I definitely felt grateful that I made the right choice in joining this training. I am looking forward to join more of their trainings in future. It is definitely a intensive training which not only helps in self development in terms of confidence, faith, courage and a lot more, but also develop a great ensemble spirit and opening one self.

It is definitely a great beginning for me in 2010. Stomping Ground 2010 gave me a fresh start and allowed me to believe and have faith in my own ability. I'm proud of myself. I remembered when the last session, Lynn handed us out the goals wee set in the first day of training for SG2010, I fellt like crying just because I've made it. Although I've only achieve two of my goals, but it's just so worth a celebrate.

I've been honestly shutting myself in a way whenever I have to stand in front of crowds especially westerners and speak their theatre language. I felt least confident and worry people might just hate it but in SG2010, Lynne, Simon, Noa and Alejandro always say don't worry, just follow your impulse and do it, there is no right or wrong. I just felt so much confident everytime they said that. Thank you so much. And I've made so many friends, everyone of them were nice people and with great passion in the things they do. i have had a really great time working with them, exploring the unknown and experimenting in new stuff.Thank you very much, my dearest ensemble! Thank you. *I really felt like crying* What we have been through might not seem anything to others but I assure you it did meant something among us. It meant a lot.

The last day was awesome with all the dressing up walk off in which all of us have to dress up as doggy as possible hahaha... I know, it's crazy.. wait til you see the pictures!

Sweet Indulgence ❤

Dear Bloggie,

It's the last week of the Stomping Ground 2010 physical theatre training. I have been feeling really exhausted after all the vigorous Suzuki Actor Training Method lately. No doubt, it's pretty amazing to be engage in all these training but physically I'm so wear off. i think most of us felt the same. Therefore, we went for desserts today! =) Though we had to walk all the way from the Old Musuem Building to the cafe, but it's all worth it!It's sort of fun to have a dessert date after all the trainings.

The cafe was called Freestyle Cafe, along Ann St in Fortitude Valley. At first, I have not much of an expectation on the cafe. I thought it's just normal desserts like banana boat ice cream and blah blah blah... But then, when i saw the servings... it's just so beautiful! May be I am over reacting. I haven't even got to the eating part yet. Seeing it alr made me melt!!!

Me and Natalie shared "A Little Bit of Queensland" which is caramel with ice cream and macadamia slice. The combination it's just wonderful!!! The moment I put it in my mouth, there this unspeakable joy as though I am floating~ No joke~ it's just so delicious! The looks was tempting and the taste was just perfect. Our table was just quiet. Not because we have nothing to say but was because everyone was so enjoying the moment with their sweet indulgence.

It's the end of second week

Dear bloggie,

i've not been updating my journals for this week. I should but i didn't. hahaha i will upload once i get home tonight! its a pretty awesome week. The aesthethic of contemporary performances is just so different as compared to each culture. it. Some of the forms that we learn im Butoh dance classes are such a taboo. 'cuz its kind of disturbing if you do not know what its culture. Personally i felt that its a really powerful for of dance. The impact is just.. Ahhh!!! I don't know how to explain... hahaha... well i enjoy the wildness of the dance!!!

I'm kind of undergoing a really confused state along the week.

Its a deconstructing phase i guess. So many is inyroduced and its like really hard to get them all together sometime. A bit lost~ but as Noa mentioned viewpoints are actually blank and what matters are our own experience and feeling lost is just a part of growing! There is just so much to learn from them.

Also, ytd classical and contemporary Indian dance by Khali is just so awesome and fun. everyone was having so much fun at the end of the group dance! It's his bday but instead of receiving gifts, he decide to give and show us his love with his dance. great yeah?! its just fun fun fun! well the training is coming to an end soon. I kinda started to felt a bit heavy heavy hearted bout ending it so soon. I'm still thinking bout taking the ongoing training but unfortunately i m not back when the term starts!!! arrgh...

i m now sitting in the couch in the old musuem building and having a break. its relaxing! class starting soon... bye! cya soon...

I can't take it anymore. I have a story to tell. I must tell but it'll take me days. And there's just too much. Even though I know judging a person is so so so so not right but I cant help myself. Ok, may be I'm not actually judging this person but f***ing annoyed by his ridiculous actions. Yes, is a HE! Can you imagine how a guy can pissed of a lady so much. Well I m definite that it's not me that is so pissed off. I've known ppl or friends who just can't take his those attitude. Arrrgh....So u would ask, what did this guy did to piss me off? What pissed me off? There's just a list of it which I think it would take me years. taking advantage of others is just the best best best quality he has.SHIT! This are just not the kind of people you can take as friends! I just have to spit my anger over here. Sorry bloggie, is such a negative energy! I shouldn't have blurp it out to you. Anyway, I Just need to release the anger and frustration in me!

Dear Bloggie,

I missed out yesterday's journal entry. So, here's both Day 3 and 4 ones. Again, it is a really good training. i can't believe I can be so discipline, waking up so early everyday and be on time! I have never been late for these few days. That's a change! Well i have told myself that I need to see myself improve and change my attitude through the training. And honestly, I did felt the change. I am engaged with it, physically and mentally. And also, i can finally focus on my speech and breath at the same time after Day 4 training. Though not perfectly mastered but still I manage to concentrate more.

SG2010 - Week 1 Day 3 & 4

➹ PERSONAL OPINION

Practice really make perfect! 'Cuz The transformation of me in Day 3 and 4 was pretty astonishing.

On Day 3, I was really really exhausted. My muscles soreness and body aches were killing me. Therefore on Day 3, I felt myself letting go a bit, I should have push myself harder. I realize myself losing focus during some of the activities. As a result, when I'm on stage, it is obvious to the audience and trainer that I'm out of focus. I find it hard to coordinate my body at some point; with all the breathing, speech and movement which I have to incorporate at the same time, I'm like so lost! Everything just fall apart all of a sudden. It's disappointing but I can't give up! I have to keep trying and trying to make it happen 'cuz only I can make I myself a better person. Day 4 which is today was great. Though I can still feel the pain but I felt myself with more energy. i am aware of what i need to do and what not. It's great to notice my own progression 'cuz I can correct my mistakes. And the best thing is I can memorize my speech really well now! Hooray!!! The training is getting harder and harder in terms of the resistance level the trainers gave us. Surprisingly, it's a type of motivation which challenges my nerves to be better! And i wish I can achieve what I intended to through this 3 short weeks of intensive. Be focus!!!

➹ THE TRAINING JOURNAL

Warm Up and Fitness Training Session

Nothing much. We pretty much do the same warm ups and aerobics everyday. But it helps to really stretches my muscles. I think I'm tougher from day to day. 'Cuz the sore on Day 4 wasn't that serious any more.

Suzuki Method Training - by Simon

The training progress to a more vigorous pace. Each day, we are introduced with new sets of syllabus and new chapters of trainings incorporate with the ones we had learn earlier. I notice that having a strong foundation really does helps a lot. 'Cuz every training we did was sort of the same sets with integrated parts every time. It slowly build up our awareness of our breathing whenever Simon add on some resistance features in the practices. I start to felt rather comfortable with the group i was assigned with. As we were trained together, I guess the rapport just build up as it goes and is a good thing we start giving feedbacks to each other as part of our training. 'Cuz there are times, only others would notice our weaknesses. The basics was to prepared us in having a very firm and steady centre of energy. It's kind of hard to really create movement within a really steady horizontal line. It's always about having a firm center of energy. The lower body really plays an important roles 'cuz if the lower body isn't strong enough, the movements which we have to do will look really wobbly. And also the alertness of our mind and body is constantly challenged most of the time. And it looks awesome every time everyone can respond to the signal give by Simon. It's just as they say, a "wow" moment on stage is very eye capturing. On day 4, we started have some story coming into place, it is interesting to not have a fix structure on stage as every movement is like a surprise not only to the audience but the actors themselves. We were taught not to plan on most of our acts as let it go naturally as a kinesthetic response often creates a feeling of suspense to the audience. I think the physical theatre often moves into the concept of open work, giving space for the audience to interpret rather than conveying their on message like mainstream theater used to. These approach explore the unknown state of the theatre as in they are always a mystery for audience to unfold.

Viewpoints Session - By Lynne

On day 3 and 4, we learned bout more viewpoints and incorporate most of them into the exercise we did. As Lynne mentioned, somehow all opening of a performance will determine the level of interesting and level of audience engaging. A strong structure on the stage would change perception of the audience towards the performance. We are constantly experimenting in different shapes and forms in every practice. And all the performance has no definite answer as a good or bad performance. Only a few subtle features included in the performance could change the meaning of the whole picture on stage. Isn't it wonderful? Then with the introduction of architectural viewpoints practice more in depth, I tend to feel highly aware of how these architectural aspects could assist and enhance the quality of a performance. The impact of adding in these often neglected aspect could lead us to different quality of the stage performance. i find it really interesting to get on the viewpoints training stage every time 'cuz each time each groups have so much to offer and it's distinct in every performance.

Dear Bloggie,

My body is aching and I hope tmr will be fine for me to do those movements. Haha.. I can do it!here's the second reflective journal to keep track of what I have learn. I can feel the enthusiasm rushing through my blood everyday! It's like every morning, I get to learn something new and challenge myself. Today, i finally get to talk more to my group of people. I think it starts to be more comfortable days by days. And also, i think with ongoing training I am able to lose my weight as well. haha Hopefully! Well here's the entry...

When the day begins: Body aching, particularly my calves and arms (triceps)

When the day ends: Worry bout tmr. 'cuz my body hurts so badly.

➹ PERSONAL OPINION

It was painful. Well not to say I hate it, but it's painful! I need to be really focus on my breathing 'cuz i find it hard to concentrate. I always lost focus when I have to maintain my energy and at the same time breathe correctly and move without changing the centre of energy too much. My current struggle is to be focus and at the same time put all the skills correctly. Also, my speech! I'm sad 'cuz I'm not well prepared with it. And it was terrible to have the fear in me while doing the breathing session with the speech. It's the second day, i have to push myself more.

Warm Up & Fitness Training Session - by Harriet

It's aerobic day. I just felt the fat burning in my body. Good stuff! Was doing a sort of rotating exercise where we have to rotate into each different sessions and complete different exercise. From pumping to star jumps! Hahaha... Great fun! It's definitely energy boost with the music on!

Suzuki Method Training - by Simon

I agree with Simon that learning is accumulative. So with Simon refreshing our memory on yesterday's lesson, i find it really useful.I think, i will understand the concept of Suzuki better. We practiced on yesterday routine and concentrate on our stomping skills. I seem to be losing focus and holding back 'cuz I was told that I am not stomping with energy. There is no power in it! I got better when Jenna told me to put in some energy! The company's people are really nice and friendly, they often guide us on the training. It is always a great learning process when you have sort of a mentor like person to guide you. Then, move to our breathing practice. Whoa, I breathe wrongly for 21 years! Well there's not a definite right or wrong but in theatre, we are taught to transfer our breathe and focus it at the lower part of our torso or lower lungs, somewhere around the diaphragm. It's like the breathing methods taught in singing classes I guess. So we've been practicing a lot on breathing and implement it in the speech that we had to memorize. Breathing actually helps a lot in our vocal projection as well. Learning to control our breathe rather that letting all out quickly is essential in performances. We actually did a lot of partnering activities today. it's great when you hear feedbacks from others and know what's our mistake. I always enjoy people being straight forward and giving me honest feedbacks! Well I always believe if my mistake is pointed out, i can make a change! Everyone deserves a chance to change, don't they? Then we did our Basic 1 practice. Though only 4 steps, but it's not as easy as i thought. No wonder we need fitness training, these steps really requires good leg strength. Now, my thighs and calves hurt so badly! Oh gosh, i wonder what will happen tmr. Also we learned to move forward and at the same time consistently maintain our center of energy at the same level. I find all Suzuki Method Training are all about maintaining and focusing and not rushing. It is the slow down part which I find myself struggle as well. 'Cuz i need to maintain my speed, focus on my energy level and the center, at the same time coordinate with my body movement. Well, it's all about patience! I should be trained in such way 'cuz I'm always impatient! i admit!

Viewpoints Session - By Lynne

We finally get to start viewpoints training. Same thing about energy level. I have to learned to control the transition of my energy into my physical state. Energy in the mind and body are just too important. Lynne told us something 'bout always remember to engage in physical awareness, audience awareness and group awareness. I find it really interesting on how a group of people, not knowing what will the person beside you will do, we just react and observe and be alert with the environment. It is just superb! We practice on two concepts, the spatial relationship and kinesthetic response practices. The result of random people and random thoughts and movement being put together is just magnificent sometime. The interpretation of the performance during the practice was just open. Every movement, every space and time relationship just create different meaning in different people's mind. I enjoy participating in the viewpoints activities 'cuz I get to explore and challenge myself with spontaneous ideas. Well it's great to be a blank paper when I enter the class, cuz' sometimes the more you think you know, you'll shut your mind up and stop learning.

➹ EXPECTATIONS

First, I have to learn stomping with energy and maintain my energy level. Second, I need to start practicing breathing right and transferring the breath correctly. Remember and memorize my speech. the next session i need to be able to control, maintain and focus on my breath, center of energy, energy level and my movement! Practice makes perfect!

This is a reflective journal entry which I will be posting for Stomping Ground 2010 (SG2010) throughout my 3-week physical theater intensive training with Zen Zen Zo. The purpose of the journal entry is to keep track on my training progress and how do i reflect myself in the training.

SG2010 - Week 1 Day 1

When the day begins: Happy, excited, full of curiosity.

When the day ends: Still looking forward for the trainings but felt tired.

➹ PERSONAL OPINION

Honestly, it's a great experience training with people who are already in the performing art industry for quite some time. Though it's a bit intimidating 'cuz I really do not have much of a theater experience but I believe this 3-week training will assist me in getting mentally and physically prepared for future performances. Having people from different creative arts field coming in as a group, it tends to be a great exposure 'cuz you get to listen to stories and learn from others too.First day was obviously a bit awkward. So many new faces. And I'm shy! Hahaha... That's not very helpful though. Things got better at the end of the class when we start to know each other more from the ice breaking session. It's good to have an introduction session just to get to know each other. I am not sure if is the fear in me which cause me to hold back when interacting with the group. I always have the mindset that "I'm just not that good in this!", "I have not much of experience as compared to them!" and "I'm just no good!". I know, I should not have a negative mentality. Therefore, I made myself clear that I came to the training for a change! I want a change in my mentality. It's just too essential in this field. I just need to be more confident in myself and stop doubting bout it.

Warm Up & Fitness Training Session - by Dale

Before every training starts, warm ups and fitness training are essential. It was a pretty tough challenge for me during the fitness training. Well not really really tough but I'm obviously struggling a lil bit, I admit I'm not that fit. Haha. So part of me take this training as my getting fit plan! We were also told to eat healthy and sleep well in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. As a physical theater person, getting physically fit is just the core requirement. I'm impressed that I actually did all the exercise. Yay to myself!

Suzuki Method Training - by Simon

The first session was the Suzuki Method Training by Simon. Throughout the session, I've been struggling very hard to concentrate on my centre energy point. I realized that I am lack of focus sometimes. The one thing I find it is really hard for me is that focusing and still maintaining the facial expression and also breathing correctly. At times, most of us would not be aware of the lil movements or expression of ours changed when we are not suppose to. That is why the focusing part is so hard to master. Well, it's first day so I think I still have time to work things up. I find it scary whenever we have to close our eyes to complete a movement. It's like all of a sudden you are in a dark room and u lost the one sense which make you felt rather secure. Without the eyesight, it's true other senses are more sensitive in a way but it requires time to learn to be focus and fully rely on other senses to keep yourself focus and balance. I need lots of practice on my focus ability. Somehow, there is this moment where i get myself so unbalance when i try to focus on this but loses the other. Get what I mean? Also, I realized I'm not spontaneous when reacting to a certain cue or command. Well, Simon did say something 'bout getting used to it and we will be better from day to day. Also, it is so true when Simon said that we people tend to skip processes, taking the easy way and creating an illusion that the problem is somehow solve. Actually, taking the right step is important. Instead of going into the problem, we often go for short cuts or go over it. Getting ourselves into the process of overcoming these obstacles whether it is mentally or physically is the best way of developing our ability to focus. i don not know bout others but the method of getting into these obstacles makes me reevaluate myself in terms of how I have been running away from reality sometimes. It's somehow a life lesson as well. There nothing you can't do, there's just things which you choose not to do. It's always a matter of choice.

Viewpoints Session - By Lynne

The second session was with Lynne. We were training for Viewpoints. We were given a brief summary on what's viewpoint on the briefing session yesterday. To be really honest, yesterday even when I nod my head as if I understand, I actually don't. But today the warm up session when Lynne told us to connect with the space, people around us and others, it makes more sense to me. Obviously, I am really a kinesthetic kind of learner. (Kinesthetic Learning is a teaching and learning style in which learning takes place by the student actually carrying out a physical activity, rather than listening to a lecture or merely watching a demonstration.) I need to really be part of it to understand what it is. It was an introductory session for the class today. So, all we did was to get ourselves aware of ourselves and people around us. A Get-To-Know-You session. We were throw with some questions. I will share with you some of the questions which I find it interesting.

How do I define myself artistically?

My answer was: A performer

I should have answer: A performer and upcoming artistic facilitator.

What is my artistic influence?

My answer was: A mentor while I was back in Malaysia.

I should have answer: Still the same. No doubt i was actually influence by my drama teacher, Cecilia. If I haven't been given the opportunity to gain experience in drama performance, I would not know I have the passion in performing arts.

What obstacle that I encounter during my artistic practice?

My answer was: My fear. Lack of self confidence.

I should have answer: No doubt. Confidence is my fear but come to think of it. but i think my worst fear is money $$$. I always have doubted the opportunities I might have back in Malaysia. Therefore, if I would to pursue my dreams, overseas is the better choice for me to improve my skills and prepare me.

How did I gain the courage to pursue on my artistic practice?

My answer was: My family. My parent have been very supportive all the time on what I am doing.

I should have answer: Still the same. My family. I am still and always will be grateful that my parent are so supportive. i have always thought my choice was not realistic but my dad and mum always told me to do what I want to do and make them proud. There's always this tingling feeling in my heart making me wanna cry 'cuz I'm just so happy my family are proud of what I'm pursuing.

My perfect moment is...

My answer was: I am touring around the world with people, particularly dancers, actors, actresses and musician performing. Our performances are regconised by people. And it's a great honour.

I should have answer: I am sitting in my office, holding the plans for my company tours. The next day, me and the team took the plane to London and that's when our international performance tour started. Our performance was great and we receive standing ovation. The company then became one of the most renowned theater production company and performing arts academy.

➹ EXPECTATIONS

I am looking forward for tomorrow's training. I hope I can do better in focusing compared to today. I need to be still and stop wobbling when I'm tipping my toes. I need to start balancing well. I believe I will be improving day by day.

It's Sunday!

Dear Bloggie,

Oh my, finally it's Sunday. I have 5 more hours to go before I start experiencing my first physical theatre training. I am seriously excited! Well the thing is that I don't have any shorts for exercising. So, it's a bit of a headache for me! So now I have to go search for shorts!!! Yesterday, the weather was really hot! Luckily, it's raining now~ Just love the wind and the rain! Hope it rains for the next few weeks before I head back to Msia. I am not sure if is hotter than Msia but I am sure I had to soaked in the water to cool myself down. At least, if i'm in Msia, I can turn on my air-con.

I am trying to start my diet plan 'cuz everyone is saying I am getting chubbier! I know! I know! But then you don't understand, in Brissy, i only have steaks, chicken chops, McD, fastfood and I can hardly find something light. Okay, it might sound like an excuse but I am implementing my new diet plan now! Hopefully, it works this time. At least I hope to get slimmer a bit before cny! I have to!!! It's a new year resolution.

So what I have for breakfast today was 100g yogurt and a banana. Yes, banana is quite fattening but because I need to have a healthy diet, I need to make sure my digestion system is good too. So, I saw a TV show talking bout having yogurt and banana or some other fruits in the early morning before u eat anything solid will helps in digestion!So this is the starter for my morning. As for lunch, I think I'll just have a salad or a pear or boiled vege. Either way. And I think i am just gonna skip dinner. Or I'll just have a juice drink. let me try it out for 3 weeks and I'll see if it works. No meat! No carbs! No sugar! No salt! This is intensive... But then I think I still need meat to balance my nutrition intake so I think every Sat & Sun will be "Meat Day". My diet plan will have boiled chicken meat and some fish. I think that sound good enough? Wish me luck! Oh ya, I still need to get myself a weight machine to keep track.

Also thinking of my skin condition. I hate it whenever I am bothered with PMS. It's so troublesome. i am like having pimple every month! I hate it. I am not sure if is my lifestyle which causes the pimples or what. It just annoy me! very~ My cleanser and stuff is almost finisto~ I have to go search for a different brand. Did you know that it's best to change your cleanser every 3 months or 6 months (if not wrong, either one...i forget) than sticking to the same one all the time? 'Cuz according to some TV Show and magazine, the stuff u use on your face will not be as effective as it used to be cuz it'll immune to ur skin or something like that. So, make a change on and off. And of course, this is just my personal opinion, you don;t have to go with it. It depends on individual preference!

I have to go now. need to head down to The Coles to get some groceries. Bye!

Just Moved Out & Moved In

Dear Bloggie,

Yesterday was really really really tiring! Me and Ben moved most of our stuff from our old place to Shawn's place. Well though the distance is not that faraway but with all the stuff we had... Man, it would takes us ages if we do not have a car with us. Luckily, Ben's uncle lend us a hand or else I guess I will not be having a great rest yesterday night. Finally, settled down, unpack and start living life. It's pretty convenient over at Shawn's place though. The location is great with the main Gabba bus stop nearby, the supermarket, pharmacy, Gloria Jeans and the new bakery store. It's just convenient! I wish I could get a unit here before my next semester starts! Hopefully, we could manage to get things work out.

Poor thing Ben, I think he is pretty exhausted as well. Due to my PMS, it's really tiring to move things here and there especially when my back aches! Thank to Ben, he is very nice to me. *laugh* He helped me on most of the stuff. I find myself annoying sometimes, asking him to help me this and that... hahaha... Just wanna let him know I appreciate his help a lot. Thank you, dear. It's a brand new year. I think all of us deserve to get a fresh start. Well our relationship deserves one as well. I wish we could work things out in a better way this year. Last year was a pretty bumpy road for our relationship. Honestly, many things happened. Just hope it get better! I still love you like I used to do, dear. Do you? Don't ask me why am I asking. i just love to listen to those 3 lil words cuz' they represent big meanings, you know? Who doesn't love to hear those 3 lil words? Every girl does, I assure you.

Like I have mentioned earlier, the physical theatre training is officially starting next week. There will be 3 hr session tomorrow. I know, it's Sunday. A pretty odd day to start! Well, i am actually really really excited bout it. I hope I can blend in well. next week onwards, I am gonna be really really busy and tired of course!

Oh ya, have i mentioned, there is a gym in the apartment I am staying now. i am going to check it out later. I have to. I need to get up and start exercising hard. I need to get slim. I swear this is part of my new year resolution which I will hold on to it! I'm gonna be discipline this time. I need to watch out my meals and work out. God, help me! No, I help myself!!! hahaha

So, as starter for my day, I am gonna watch my Supernatural Season 5 with my crunchy fruit bar. Got to go. Bye!

Happy 2010~

Dear Bloggie,

It's the first day of 2010, it's a brand new year. Time just passes fast, i mean real fast... Well it's my first new year celebration in Brissy as well, and it's kinda awesome! Everyone seems to be flocking to the Southbank to celebrate the coming new year. It's just so crowded! They have two sessions of fireworks... i guess one was to celebrate the last day of the year 2009 and the other was to celebrate the first day of 2010. So, we get to see twice the fireworks! haha... Seeing twice isn't that great, i think. Cuz' I'm not excited for the second one anymore. But, one thing... Whenever there is fireworks, it's just like magic... Everyone would start staring the same direction with the same look at the same time! Try looking around yourself the next time then you will know what I meant!

The first fireworks was 8.30pm. And me and ben kill our 4 hours slot before midnight in the movies, watching "Old Dogs". It's funny! Well, not sure if everyone would be dying to watch it... but you can go try though... As far as i know, it's all bout family... and i like it! 'cuz Robin William is one of my fav.! Then we met up with some friends after the show and just in time to start counting down til the new year comes! It's great when there is the projection of numbers on the buildings! the countdown part always makes me felt so good 'cuz it's like you get everyone and i mean everyone... whether you're family, couples, friends, enemies or strangers... everyone just count down together, looking forward for the new year! I guess new year meant a lot! A fresh start for everyone, perhaps? To me, it is!

First Fire Works Session

Then finally, walking around greeting people with a" Happy New Year" and also receiving it back was great! It's new year!!!! and then after like for the first 30 minutes of the countdown, fireworks, greetings, hugs, kisses, the crowd started leaving... Well it's just a 30 minute new year boost~ LOLs... back to reality! New year means getting old!!! Oh no! O-L-D. Sounds pretty sad! 'cuz that means more responsibility, more stress, more problems and less fun! Awww man... i think I should still enjoy the whole new year thing at least for a full day... =)

My 2010 New Year Resolution is that I want myself to work harder for my education and build a great career path for my future! Also, I am going to work on my great big plans of traveling. Of course, I want a job! Please... i want it so badly!!!!!! And I need to get slimmer! and healthier! Xmas in Brissy!

Dear Bloggie,

Well spending xmas in Brisbane is different! not to mention that I awfully missed my family cuz usually I'll be spending xmas with them instead. In Brissy, Xmas = summer + rainy + quiet. you see, over here, ppl tends to celebrate xmas at home, having their family dinner instead of heading to the city or clubs for countdown. Like for me, i bet i'll be out partying on xmas eve if I am in msia. Well, their xmas eve family dinner is very much similar to our chinese new year reunion dinner when family gathers and share their wonderful meal. here, most likely u will have xmas turkey and beer! Well back in msia not every household celebrate xmas, that's why for some reason, I find xmas celebration in Brissy and msia are so different.

Well, for this xmas eve, What i did was...

1. I miss my family and friends very much! Wish everyone a merry merry xmas!

2. I went on a simple and nice xmas eve dinner with ben in the city and the food was surprisingly wonderful.

It's been a long long long time since I update you again. It's finally summer holiday~ And I mean... SUMMER! It's so hot... really really hot! I can't imagine the worst... I'm planning to shift my blog soon. Ya, again. Hahaha... this time probably get a domain of my own...

So, many friends have been asking when will I be back in Malaysia. It's gonna be on 24th of January 2010. I know I should be back early since the holidays have just started but fyi i will be having a physical theatre summer intensive training during the january. I can't miss it! I bet it will be a great experience.

Also, the other day, me, ben and shawn went to DFO. And oh my gosh, sales everywhere... Too bad I wasn't prepared for shopping on that day. But still , i got myself some stuff. Hehehe... I've been looking for a part time job since the minute i step my foot in Brisbane City. Well thank god, i just got a call for an interview. AT least there's news from somebody! WIsh me luck!!! If i'm successful, i'm gonna have a job! And i'm gonna have extra money for my shopping list for X'mas and CNY~ Yay!!! *fingers crossed*

Going to get myself a new lappie soon.. So excited bout it! Haahahhaha... And gonna move away from this cottage end of December. Kinda miss the place. But thinking of moving into a new environment and gettin' myself out of sight from people who annoys me makes me felt rather happy!!!!!!!! I just can't wait for a change~ Change lappie... Change environment... Change from jobless to job-oriented... I need a change... That's all I need...

Well, ben has been working lately! Good thing is the pay is consider to be great pay... Bad thing is i'm home a lone most of the time... Only me and "Dong Dong". LOLs... Oh ya! "DOng Dong" is ben's new Nintendo Wii... He's been crazy over the games... It's fun! Especially when you can have multiplayer.

Things haven't been going so well. I can't really have a HIM whom are so not responsible! It's just always excuses and excuses on whatever had happen. Even when comes to handling promises or time management which practically never happen at all. Ya, he had promise to do this and do that... But then he ended up staying up late doing unnecessarily stuff which i can noticed (cuz i have my eyes with me all the time). Then ended up, when i start asking him to hey go sleep early will ya? I thought we have plans? He'll just start saying I need to do my assignments! Ya right? Assignments should be done during the time you spend on those stupid anime and taiwan variety shows! Not late night!!! You don't listen to me! You don't bother managing what you're supposed to do! You just like to put everything til late night then you have excuse to stay up late! Acting as though yeah, you had changed. You just changed to be worst and getting better in giving heaps of excuses. I am so sick and real sick of your attitude!!!!!!!!!!! I hate you!!! I really do. Yeah, you have nothing wrong with what you're doing right now. No one should intervent when should you sleep or what are you doing! You're always right. The only thing wrong was ME in your life. 'Cuz you made me felt so!!! I hate you! Know why i post it up? 'Cuz I know you don't even bother to visit my blog or my facebook or everything I am in. 'Cuz you are so bz in all your anime, facebook and you tube or possibly someoneelse facebook or websites or even msn with some random freak crapping bout things which i hate! So now, I'm just gonna crap all this out now. 'Cuz i had enough of it in me!!! I'm so sick of everything. I should just totally ignore you! But I couldn't 'Cuz i still have those feelings. And I find myself really stupid to feel that way. I don't think it's even worth it. Ya, you have changed your lifestyle!!!! In your dreams. Or probably in mine. I could not upload my Gold Coast pics. *sad* 'Cuz my camera is not working! I think i'll have to wait for quite some time. Damm. It's so heart breaking. I have so much fun over there. We went to the Gold Coast beach which I had always dream off and the Warner Bros Movieworld. The sunshine, the sea, the rides, the horror house, the infinity... and how can i miss the breakfast and the affordable room rates. You don't necessarily spend a lot to relax, you know? *smile* ANyone who is coming to Gold Coast for trips, you definitely should ask me along. 'Cuz I hadn't have enough of it!!! need to plan to head down there again for the beach and sunshine. I will and I will upload the pics once my Lil Pinky has recover.

I just finished my 40 minute seminar presentation. Phew! That was a really long one. I had fun teaming up with my group mates, Athalia, Tom and Yvette. They were just great! Well, uni works are stressful sometimes 'cuz everything it's so practical. I need to really do my own researches and stuff. No more spoon feeding! I'm actually working out my time management. Damm! Studying over Oz really need good time management skills 'cuz its all about me and myself! Sort of hate how the education system works in Malaysia. It just not helping at all if we are trying to really go further. I know. I know. I'm being really frustrated now.

Ok, just give you some updates on what will be on soon...

I actually volunteered in the Brisbane Festival '09 'cuz one of my subs require me to do a critical analysis for a real event. It sounds fun but I think I need to do lots of research. Well, this coming friday morning, there'll be a Brisbane Festival Volunteers' BBQ for all the volunteers. So, yay! Free food! hehe *hungry wolf* But actually i'm not really going for the food. I really want to expand my social network over here in Oz. So it's a great opportunity! The Brisbane Festival '09 is having a Fireworks Performance along the Brisbane River on Saturday. I can't wait for the experience. The QUT Cliffhangers (Rock Climbing Club) is throwing a party at night to celebrate around my place.So Brisbane Festival is sort of a party day for people all over Brisbane! It sounds like I'm just partying like an animal, yeah? LOLs. I still do my homeworks~ *finger cross*

My next Rock Climbing Trip is on coming Sunday. I think I will definitely have a busy weekend! After all the stressful assignments week, i need a weekend break! I've been waiting so long for another trip since Mt. Tinbeerwah Expedition. I heard this Mt. Tibrogargan is much higher than the previous ones i had climb before. I can't wait to see the scenary up high on the mountain. Here are some pics which I get from the Internet. It excites me! *excited*

Dear Bloggie,

I wonder in life, do we often need to face people who are hypocrite every now and then? Well honestly speaking, i think my life was destined to meet people like this every time. At least I doubt that the person in my list of "hypocrite" now know what's the meaning of it. One good advice, I just pity people who needs to put on their fake appearance in front of people and act pathetic. Awww ya, I'm being harsh! But life's just as that way.

Why do I named the post as contemporary hypocrites. Well just for the fun of it~ It's catchy! LOLs...

Some of the stuff which I need to make myself clear.

Each and every person have their right to choose what they want to buy or eat or drink or wear or even the way they walk or even how fast they walk or what they spend on or who they go out with or what they wanna say!
Get the hell off if you hate my guts! You don't need to pretend! Honestly, I pity you 'cuz I don't even care.
It's annoying if you do something and complaint about it because someone say something to you which they do not even meant it.
What's wrong with spending on things which we like and bearing the consequences on our own? Isn't life suppose to be about responsibility which we all have to learn? No one has the right to comment on how a person handle life. Unless someone ask for opinion. Ya, only you spend wisely on stuff which is not even necessarily! DUH~ like as if...
Making fun among friends are common. Good friends will never take jokes serious. Cut that crap! It's just fun! No one's gonna take a joke serious, anyone? Probably ya, the one I know. Small gas~ Ok fine! Jokes are not allow! Happy? Only your parent are lucky to have a hypocrite child! I can't believe your closest friend was judged! Who are you? The jury?
It's all about your dignity, isn't it? Everyone is doing it so you're doing it even if you don't like. In the end, the blame is on us who are doing it for real interest or fun! It's bullshit!
Stop living in a traditional mind. It's 21st century. No one can ever force you to make a decision on anything. The decision has always been yours. So, don't go around thinking how people is trying to influence you. If you're that stern on what you want or think, don't follow others then! WTF!!! are you trying to say?
It's ridiculous to even talk to people like you. Gosh.. People who voices out doesn't necessarily be the one who offends 'cuz most of the time, those who stab others from the back are the worst offense! Got it!

The above statement was meant for a person who really gone somehow too far beyond my limits. So, it is not intended for anyone else but that ass****. And, I assure that you guys wouldn't want to know this person. Who the hell likes hypocrites?

Have you been one of them? Me? Possibly? You? Don't try to runaway from the fact that you did!!! Well who cares, that's life. So, I'll have to learn to live with it, don't I? Hell yeah!!!

Finally, I've got some time to update you!

So, last 2 week, I'd just passed up my assignments~ Oh gosh.. finally felt a bit relax. Now, each coming Friday I have one due... *sob* I missed out so much fun in climbing and dancing because of assignments. I don't hate assignment but i certainly don't like them as well. >.<

At least yesterday night I had fun in Reiji Party! Sooooo many hot babes! and i bet many guys nose bleed that night. hahaha... Unfortunately, my camera no battery! Reiji Party indeed made me miss clubbing moments in Malaysia so much! I miss all my clubbing kaki! And i miss those wondeful dancing time with my college babes... arrrgh... I miss clubbing in Malaysia~ But overall it was a great clubbing moment! cheers~

[District 9]-a pretty good movie with real different story approach though... And of course, the make up of the characters really is cool. You guys should totally go watch that movie! Not gonna be a spoiler here. So, go watch on your own & then we can talk bout it on facebook or MSN or what-so-ever.

It's changing..

Dear bloggie,

I'm really disappointed right now. Everything which seems so perfect in front of me seems so imperfect sometime. I hate to be ignored. I hate to be unwanted! Unwanted in the sense that I feel as though I'm nobody to you. It's like you rather spen your effort or time on some other stuff and ignoringy feelings as though I'm nobody to you when I actually am somebody. *sad*

It's hard to not address such issue when it's so obvious sometime. Though I've made my stand sometime that there's something wrong but the only answer or reply I got would be "nah, u r thinking too much!" or "well we'll work things out slowly! Don't worry!" now I'd understand why it only bothers me but not you. Cuz u don't even care as much. U care bout some other stuff all the time rather than me.

I will not argue anymore or even voice that somethings wrong between us cuz at the end nothing would change. I'm not sure if I could stand it any longer but I know I'm hurt somehow. I concern but you take my concern as nothing.

It seems that mankind just love to ignore small parts which actually plays a big role sometime. The fact is that you don't think it appeals to you doesn't mean i don't felt anything bout it!!! Is just so hard to make you understand!

Time will not change anything much... But instead everthing will change as time passes. I don't know whether if is love? But I do know I want to be loved. A simple message do not prove anything. It's the everyday voice, touch and movement or even thoughts that matter. I can't feel the passion, the initiative.. I hate the feeling of what you just did.. It's ignorant.. U just don't care... It hurts. The more I felt hurt, the further I will be.. *tears*

It seems that no one is trying to put things back or prevent stuff to happen. I dunno how long can it sustain... It's changing! I can feel is changing.. It's really changing... *breaking apart*

What am I gonna do? Someone please help me...

It's Raining...

Dear Bloggie,

It's the 1st rainy day since the first day I came to Brisbane. I am here in Brisbane for about a month. Time just passes by quicker than I thought it would.

12th of August - My birthday! As well as Australia's Public Holiday. How cool is it, yeah? Hehe... Too bad I am stuck home because of the assignment due this Friday. Ahh, but then I had a great time Yesterday with the guys. Although, it's not a fancy 21st birthday but I really appreciate what they had done for me. I am officially legal now!!! hehe... I am not a small young lady anymore. I am a woman!!!

Most of the people would wish me "Happy Birthday and hey, you're legal!" or "Big girl lorr... Happy B'day!" or "Grown up 'dy! Don't be naughty ar!!" or "Happy B'day, Girl! Have lots of fun in Aus!" or many others which I couldn't really recall. *Lols* But then, a friend talk to me yesterday just remind me something, "Hey girl, you're finally 21. After all those rebellious acts you did fighting for freedom, it's finally coming true on this day! It's another phase of your whole new life." *smiling*

I found it rather funny ytd when I heard those words. Yeah, it reminded me on how foolish I used to be trying so hard to make my own choices on stuff. Finally, all comes to an end on my 21st Birthday. I wouldn't have to worry bout my parents bugging me on stuff or doubting my decisions. (Actually they are just worry bout me all the time.) I wouldn't be worry that I would got caught for illegally running into a casino. (I had honestly never tried to do that yet!) I would not have to ask those who are 21 alr to sign up phone lines or other services for me, I can do it on my own! (It's really troublesome sometimes!) So, moral of the story is I am actually in my early adulthood which I am a bit worry 'bout it. Seriously. All of a sud, I felt like I am on my own.

A song from Miley Cyrus, The Climb sort of rings a bell in my mind. "Life is just a climb..." Ya, it's just like rock-climbing! Lols. Some of you may ask, you're addicted to rock-climbing huh? Well not actually addicted, it's just that it's an uphill battle which reflects well on life. Whatever we are trying to achieve, we are just like climbing up trying so hard to reach it. In the attempt of rock-climbing I find myself always trying to do what I think is impossible to be done. Life is just the same. Through out the journey, we might fall apart again and again. We would never know what's gonna appear in front of us to stop us from reaching it. Sometimes, we might be lost with no directions and breakdown just right there. The journey to reach out to our dreams is never easy. But, we have to be strong! Be strong to reach up there. "Life is not about giving up. Life is about moving on when you felt like giving up." Mount Ngungun Expedition

Dear Bloggie,

It's Mt. Ngungun Climbing Expedition Day! Ngungun... Everyone pronounce it as 'gun-gun' with a silent 'N'. ANd when we asked some local guys, they practically don't really know the exact pronunciation!!! (=.=)'' LOLs. So, we just call it Mount 'Gun-Gun'...

I woke up in 6 o'clock this morning and damm... i wish i can stay longer in my blankie! The weather is almost 8c if not wrong. Freaking cold. It's my first trip with the QUT Cliffhangers heading to Mt. Ngungun which is approx an hour drive from my place. I was really excited the other night, wondering what would it likely to be climbing outdoors. Outdoors as in not only in Kangaroo Point. LOLs. Unfortunately only three of us were going this morning, Bru-Vahn-o refused to go with us! *Sad* Well, he'll miss the fun! So, it was pretty rush as we (Ben, Kyle & Me) were practically preparing our breakfast in hurry so that we won't get late. And being told that we are not gonna find any food while we're in the jungle!!! NO FOOD! We had to prepare our own lunch and sufficient water or else... I don't know what might happen. God knows.

Adam (Chairperson of QUT Cliffhangers) picked us up just on time. And here goes, we headed to the Mt. Ngungun. Oh shit, half way through the journey, I realized i forgotten something really important - my CAMERA!!! *Arrrgh* My last resort was to use my iPhone to capture pics. Honestly, I couldn't stop myself falling asleep through out the journey as usual. I think i have this car-sleeping-syndrom which makes me sleep almost everytime when i'm in a car. Obviously not when driving! Halfway through my good sleep, I was awaken by Adam. He actually set up a top set on his headrest and tried to train us while he is driving. *impressive* I was so blurred at that time. Honestly, I couldn't digest a single word that he said to me.

We actually stop by a town called Glasshouse which sounded so unique to me. WHat i expect out of the town was glass everywhere hahaha... I know it's foolish. But the town name just mislead me. Well at least some building with glass form would explain? But then, it was just a really nice and peaceful town. We met up with the others at their traditional bakery stop off spot to get some refreshment before heading to Mt.Ngungun. Here are some pics of the town.

Funny thing was, everyone got sandwiches or pies for lunch to be brought to the mount. Guess what did we three idiots bought? TIM-TAM was like our first choice. It was like everyone wanted to get something healthy. Mujay even came up to us and said, "I think you guys should get something more healthy!" Three of us were like so "pai seh". And our second option was Nutrition Bar. Sounds healthy, yeah? We felt like we're heading up hill for a picnic more than a expedition. LOLs. Well, besides having to prepare our own food and drink, we have to make sure we had went to the toilet. As you know, there're no build toilets for you to do your thing in the jungle. All you have is bushes. After everyone get their stuff, then we continue our journey to Mt. Ngungun.

Once reached the intended destination, we got to all get our climbing gears ready and assigned to leaders. As we amateur climbers are know as the seconder in lead-climbing which requires another leader to lead us up to the climb. Luckily, I've got Shawn to coach me. Well, it's not that he is really that great. hahaha Nah he is good enough!! LOLs. He made Malaysians proud! (So, i did compliment you, k?) Most importantly, I felt much more comfortable is he coaches me. Then, all teams were to decide what climb do they wanna do and head towards the spot to start setting up. Walking uphill and get to those climbing spot was around 15 minutes and it's like the 15 minutes was so hard to get through. I hadn't really hike for a long long long time. need some time to adapt though. But still I manage to get there. Me, Ben & Kyle was on a separate teams. All of us went separate ways.

After walking around trying to get a good climb to start off, we eneded up doing the spot where Ben and his leader went. So, me and Shawn started of with a Lvl17 Climb. Shawn made it looked so easy to get up. (Ya, he is good alright.) I struggled so long on one part of the climb but at last got up as well. What a tough start. Then, I tried with the Lvl15 ones and i think i did better than the previous climb. but, that nasty Shawn was so harsh to me all the time...and i mean real harsh. *sobs* He never compliment me! Such a nasty mentor. Then, he started to say his good intentions on being that nasty. DUH~ After that, we hang around that area. Take turns to belay. Then, the last climb was really tough. And i mean really tough tough. The climb was named Absentia, Lvl17 but felt more like a Lvl18. Even Shawn said was hard but still he got up. Me, Ben & Kyle couldn't even got up to one third. *sad*

Earlier while we was still rock climbing, there were so many people hiking up hill. From kids to old folks. So, three of us decided to hike up to the top of the mountain after we are done with the climbings, . Oh boy, it was freakin' hard to get up. It was so steep. And it's sort of scary. It took us almost 20 minutes to get up to the very top of the mountain. No joke, ain't easy. The good thing was the view from the top it's awesome! I couldn't really describe my feeling when i was on top with words. We had taken lots of pictures up there. And it's really windy. My leg felt sort of numb when i was up there. Too exhausted. We thought we could catch the sunset in time. Unfortunately, we had to made to the bottom before sunset as the others will be leaving. By the time we're up on the top, it's approx 4 o'clock. We hang around for 20 mins then head back down to meet others.

For dinner, we stop by a bar at the town we stopped earlier. They served great fettuchini carbonara whic is my favourite!! Lols. When heading back, I'm totally knocked out. As in i slept through out the whole journey. When I got back home, I realize my knee was fulll of bruises. Ouch!!!

Today is 8th August 2009. It's my grandma's b'day! I gave her a surprise call and she was so happy. I almost cried 'cuz I know she missed me. I could hear from her voice. "Happy Birthday, Po Po!" AUGUST seems to be like month for birthdays, perhaps? 'Cuz in my facebook birthday list I have so many people poppin' out! LOLs...

Hmm... back to important good news as stated on my title. It may not appeal to everyone though! It's a good news for me!!! hehe^^ Today, I received an email from my cuz, Christopher. And he brought me great news which enlighten my day after sitting in front of my piece of assignment question the whole day. My parent's restaurant, "Lao Ma Zis Home Cooked Dishes" made up to Sin Chew Newspaper the other day. And that's so awesome!!! Here's a link that you can view from. Click HERE to view. Pretty cool yeah! Well what i meant was, not everyone get to be on press! Lols. SO, it makes them special in a way!

To be honest, it wasn't easy for my parent to come to this point. There're so much hardship moments during the setup of the restaurant. Finally, there are some recognition from people. Business is getting better, and my family is obviously getting busier. Too bad, I can't be there to help out! But i know, my mum & dad would definitely say "Go do what you should do and make us proud! Don't worry us! We'll manage it!" I used to blame my parents for being so protective at certain point, but then I realised the reason behind such protectiveness was to hope the best for me and prepare me to the real world. And the real world isn't that easy. Life obstacle will somehow strike on us one day in any possible sense; career, health, relationship, almost anything... and the moral of the story is, "Shit just happens, & you can't ask why!"

What I've learned so far was never to take things for granted at times but people still make the same mistake all the time, don't they? Well, i know... sometimes is just hard to be that persistent. "Just remember to have faith in yourself and stand up once again whenever you fall! And believe in yourself, believe that you can achieve whatever you want! Tell yourself how badly you want it, then you'll get it no matter what. May be not now, but someday. I believe the day will come. Just wait for that ONE day to come. Don't give up~"

All of a sud, I really really miss my family. I wish i could celebrate my grandma's bday with them now! Arrrgh... I am stuck with my assignments. I need to really start pushing myself! Not to the edge of a cliff but to the study table. Well at least i did try my best to boost up my research skills. And damm, i really thinks that QUT is a freaking awesome uni which basically provides me what i need most everytime. It's all so user-friendly & easy access, from the QUT Virtual to Blackboard to Library Service to extra Tutorial classes and yada-yada-yada... It practically equips the students with every possible tools needed for great research papers. And I absolutely do not have any excuses to not ace in my research assignments, don't I? SO there goes, have to get back to research works. Wish me luck, people!

P/s. Oh ya, before i go, just in case Yap Sher Lynn, you see my blog post, please take care of yourself, k? I heard Pang Gor say you;re sick! Don't get yourself over stressed on your geography lols... Well you can't break my PMR record de la... *nasty* Wuahahahaha... LOLs But anyway, just get some rest. Dear Bloggie,

The day before was pretty much a gloomy night! And yesterday was practically a tiring day. Today will be a brand new day!

Awww... Having to know that I have an assignment to due next Friday. Gosh, the feeling pretty much sucks! I haven't really went on to do some research as i got log on to facebook to update myself with various 'events'.

Isn't it great to have a Thursday off? I guess so. I hadn't got any time to upload my pics. *lazy* I'm sorry but i can't help it! Ah yes, it'll be a great day to have everything done.

Something which drew my attention the other day...
Yeah, the plane in the sky! Ah, can't really put it in words now. Probably pictures will explain. After all, a picture worth a million words. It's just a simple head up looking to the sky, and everyone will just follow! Heads up ppl! That's what you'll see...

QTU? Everyone was asking around... What the hell is QTU? If is QUT then it sort of make sense if QUT is advertising in the air but then.. hmm... Ben even google it, guess what came out. QTU=Queensland Teacher Union??? LOL the teache in Queensland are pretty creative, yeah? This doesn't happen so often in Msia or I think it never happened? I don't know!

WEll today, i did manage to resort my photo albums. I guess pretty soon i can upload it.. Probably within the week, perhaps? hehe... Need to research my stuff for the assignments due next Friday. *Struggling badly*

Gloomy Night

Dear bloggie,

Now that I realize everything it's practically a lie. The world is
just too perfect to be true! I had promises once again! I should have
trust my instinct more but i didn't. Instead, I usually goes with my
feeling. It's gonna be a tough journey now and then.

Ya, probably he's just right. I am the one whom should be blame.
Probably yeah, it's me again! Expressive ain't a really good qualities
in some way, I guess. I should shut up once again like I used to.

Honestly, I'm afraid... Afraid of the feeling of being fooled. 'Cuz I
usually do. It's all just started on stage, it's just an ordinary show
which I thought was real. He never changed but i did. My mind is
becoming overshadowed by past experience. My heart is not open for new
experience.

Every now and then things just happen and all I have to receive is
excuses or explanations. My mindset is preset in a way that it's
always as I predicted. So, that's basically the problem. May be is
just me that do not have the strong affection in the relationship? So
I guess we should just end it, perhaps? It hurts... But it hurts more
to live in a world full of false expectations! No one ever understand,
especially him.

I'm tired of waiting time to prove it all 'cuz I know if I give up
now. He'll just turn over and start over. I know what happen.. And I
know it well! I'll need to get over it as well!!!

I'm back!!! So sorry for not feeding you with my news for ages! My bad! I promise to never leave you in hunger anymore. If I do, I'll be cursed. *finger cross*

Gosh, just a short update! Finally, I settled down in Brisbane, Australia! Hehehe... and it's like a dream come true! Weather is pretty awesome! Uni environment is great! People are friendly! I pretty much look forward in everything!

So, here's my important events update so far...

A Week before I leave KL

What happen was...

I had sleepless night almost everyday. I couldn't imagine how will it be to be far apart from family and friends. The feeling is kinda confused though. The sad part is I had to cancel my Bangkok trip due to H1n1 'cuz my parent worried that anything happened might delay my trip to Aus. Too bad for me!

Well, I had gatherings session with my ji muis, sg long friends and my family which kinda make me sad 'cuz I can't hang out with them anymore. I appreciated what my ji mui had done for me n the last gathering. The unforgetable and unreplaceable cake they had custom made for me! Thank you, sweet babes! and "PLEASE DO NOT FORGET YAP EE LYNN!!!" hehehe...
I cried *secretly* so much within the week. Honestly speaking, I was a bit afraid that I can't cope with everything. It's so different from what used to happen! Yes, many might say, 'Com'on, it's not like you moved out or be away of home for the 1st time!' But then, you guys just don't understand, this time is like away away away.

Well, I'm glad that my parents and family were very supportive of me on pursuing my studies in Drama. (which most of the time ppl whould question my decision on this) Because of this, I felt rather sad to not be by their side now and then. Well, like my dad say, at least I've got a plan in mind. *evils* Sounded like an evil plan. I guess I need to prove myself in every sense to make my family proud of me! Thank you so much, Dad and Mum! I love you guys! And my dearest sis and bro are being really nice of them as well all the time. Though I'm not gonna admit that I actually bullied them but I just want to say they're always special to me! Even though I might be a lil bit harsh sometimes, but I still love them! *sobs* I miss them so much!

The Day I Left KL

What happen was...

The day had finally came. The heavy-hearted feeling is just unbearable. I had been holding back my tears for so long. i wanted to be tough in front of my parents. I can still remember clearly how that first drop of tears droop out. It's like a chain effect. I hug my mum, I cried, she cried, my sis cried, eventually everyone has tears. Aiks...

I am glad some of my friends showed up. Surprisingly, Ah Fai was there as well. That guy told me he wasn't coming to send me off but he did in the end. Anyway, thanks for coming! Leonard and Kwai promised to come and they did as well. Ruby and Strawberry representing the DBC gang to send me off. None of the least, Val and Jing Wen finally got the chance to meet me the very last time. They brought me a farewell card and gift which I really like it. Thanks a lot, girls. Glad to know you guys in my short period in Help Uni. Too bad I can't stay for long but i really had a great time back then. I just want to thank everyone who sends me off that day.

Luckily i had my mask with me when i was crying. But still, leonard, kwai and ah fai saw my ugly crying face. Arrrghhh... which i had never intend to show them! Ended up after I was alone waiting for the plane, I was still crying and crying and crying. I just couldn't stop!!!

The Day I was on the Plane

What happen was...

Too bad, Marie and Zion couldn't make it! I wish they were there. *sob* Anyway, Ben's parent sent us off from Singapore. Really wanna thank aunty and uncle for being so nice and helped me all the time! Thank you soooo much!

That day, I was pretty calm when i arrived Sg. The night before I was still worrying about the luggage overweight issue. I didn't want to unload my stuff as I felt everythin was equally important. Well luckily, everythin was smooth when i checked in my luggage. Phew! And Singapore International Airport was really beautiful. I couldn't recall if i had taken any pictures but if i did i'll just upload asap. I remembered passing by the clinic in the airport and I scared myself when i overheard a conversation of a lady and the medical officer talking bout his son having H1N1. I was like OMG, then run away asap! I think I was being a bit over reacted at that time.

Then on plane, the service was great. I was intending to get myself a Bailey when i was on the plane but i was too tired to even move. But the entertainment facilities was really cool. There's so many movies, dramas, games selection. I couldn't even finish browsing all of it. It was indeed a great experience! Slept 60% through out the journey.

The Day I Touched Down in Brisbane, Australia

What happen was...

Wow, the waiting queue for custom check was sooooooooo long. Gosh, waited for almost 45 mins to get out of the airport. Hmmm... Finally landed at Brisbane! Ben's Uncle Yen pick us up! I couldn't believe I was actually in Brisbane at last. The weather was really cooling. The cool breeze was great!!! Aaahh, finally it's cold. Couldn't imagine to be in Msia with the hot weather 'cuz previously before i left weather was terrible!

Then, we reached our home sweet home. A lil cottage which is really cozy inside. And I love the place!!! We have almost every basic things in the house prepared for us. Thanks to Uncle Yen who had been helping us so much. It's actually quite near my uni but it's just that the river actually made my journey seems further. I had to take a City Ferry to cross over to my uni which seems fun to me the first time. Hahaha... A bit 'shua gu'! hohoho...

Kyle and Vahn was already there welcoming us. Everyone hadn't unpacked as everyone was exhausted after the 8 hour flight. Then, Uncle Yen brought us around to the suburbs to get some groceries. And one thing I coudln't use to it is that the shops in Brisbane closed so early and the sky got dark so early. 5 o'clock in Brisbane is as dark as 8 o'clock in Msia. Can you imagine!

The First Week in QUT

What happen was...

QUT is basically situated in the city which allow us to have quite an easy access from our place to uni. Orientation week was pretty interesting. The Uni actually had a whole program designed for new students. I did my Student ID the first day and my pic sucks! Just don;t understand why every student pics didn't seem to turn out as pretty as cam-whore pics! One thing i love the most is that I can lie down and study on the grass lawn in QUT which is so different compared to the study environment in Msia. The library is full with great facilities which assist students and also the 24 hours lab which practically looks like a cyber cafe in Msia! Cool~ And their online learning applications and updates are done in a very efficient way. I'm just lovin' it here~! There are pics of my uni in my facebook. You guys should check it out here!

The Day I got my iPhone 3Gs

What happen was...
Actually, I had never intend to get the iPhone 3Gs but... It's really stupid if I don't get it! The offer was really really cheap. I just had to pay AUD$5 each month for the phone and AUD$49 for my phone bill. Every month I get AUD$650 in my phone to called and eventually i get a brand new iPhone!!!

3 of us, incl. me, ben and kyle got one iPhone each under the 3 network. And we are all satisfied and happy with it so far! I can't stop playing around with my iPhone til now. It's really handy and fun! There are so many games & applications which really kept me busy. Now, that i have my 'lil whitey', my 'lil pinky' had to be kept somewhere else which is bad! But, I promised to still 'sayang' my LG 'lil pinky'!!! Ok, i promise!!!! Whoever reads this is my witness!

The Day I Started Rock Climbing

What happen was...

Finally, met up with Shawn and somehow went rock climbing with him! It's quite an experience. Rock climbing is not easy!!! Climbing techniques, tying knots, belaying, blah-blah-blah... It requires skills which i obviously don't know yet. But, hahaha... I did better than Ben! I went further than him! I rocks! Ben will kill me if he see this. But then, I don't care I still wanna let you guys i know i did a great job! Somehow, every now and then we go rock climbing quite often. The rock climbing spot is just so near oour place so there's no excuse for not going there! We also managed to convinced our housemates to join along. So now, every Mon and Wed is Rock Climbing Day. I did managed to know some friends through rock climbing activity as well. I get to know a few Aussie mates and German hot guys. Woohoo~~~ In simple words, [rock climbing = healthy sports + social + bbq + curry + parties + trips + bruises all over the body] lols... I had cuts and bruises all over my legs and hands. Ben said those are called war scar. Hahaha... I need to get my feet up and start moving up ad up and up and never come down!!!!

The Day I Watched Bruno

What happen was...
Why is watching Bruno an important event. You'll understand better if you finish reading this. It's our first movie day. Actually first choice was Harry Porter but there were no more tickets. Then, Bruno was our second choice. In case, you guys don't know what's bruno, you guys should click here to get more info. Below is a pic of the movie.

So basically is another version of Borat sort of movie. And If you had never saw this movie, you should watch and get yourself laughing all night long. The Bruno-Syndrom effect is so long lasting that now all my housemate are still laughing over it. It became something like an in-joke. And even one of my housemate changed his name from Vahn to 'Bru-vahn-o' and everyone called him so. LMAO. Surprisingly as well, Ben and Kyle manage to get some of the German guys from rock climbing to talk bout Bruno together and joke bout it. Bruno-Syndrom effect is more powerful than me and Shawn thought! LOL SO you see that's y i named it as an important event 'cuz it turned my hsemates into crazy Bruno fans!!! Believe it or not, Bruno is contagious!
